News Synopsis

After introducing the powerful Multistrada V2 and Panigale V2, Ducati has now launched the updated Streetfighter V4 in India. The new model comes with significant design upgrades and a more powerful engine, making it lighter and sportier than before. Here’s a detailed look at what’s new in Ducati’s latest superbike.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 Engine

The Streetfighter V4 continues to use the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, now compliant with Euro 5+ emission norms. This engine delivers 214hp of power and 120Nm of torque. Ducati also offers a full-system Akrapovič exhaust, which boosts the power output up to 226hp. For superior braking performance, it features Brembo’s top-spec Hypure calipers paired with a Brembo master cylinder.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 Design

The design of the new Streetfighter V4 has undergone several major changes. While it remains a stripped-down version of the Panigale V4, it now features a wider handlebar instead of clip-ons, offering a more comfortable riding position.

The single-sided swingarm has been replaced with Ducati’s new double-sided swingarm, which reduces lateral stiffness by 40%, improving handling and reducing overall weight. The new chassis is lighter, with the front frame alone shedding around 1kg.

The standard V4 variant comes with a fully adjustable 43mm Showa BPF fork and Sachs monoshock, while the V4 S variant gets Öhlins electronically adjustable Smart EC 3.0 suspension.

To enhance control and comfort for taller riders, Ducati has revised the ergonomics — the handlebar is 10mm closer, and the footpegs are now positioned lower, forward, and 10mm inward.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 Features

The Streetfighter V4 features a new 6.9-inch TFT display, offering wide customization options for system settings. It also includes Race eCBS, which stabilizes the bike without requiring the rider to use the brake lever.

The bike is equipped with Ducati’s full suite of electronics, including:

  • Traction Control

  • Wheelie Control

  • Launch Control

  • Cornering ABS

  • Bidirectional Quickshifter

  • Six-axis IMU enabling cornering aids

Ducati Streetfighter V4 Price in India

The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 has been launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹32.38 lakh, which is ₹2.67 lakh higher than the previous model. The higher-spec V4 S variant features lightweight forged aluminium wheels, electronic suspension, and a lithium-ion battery, collectively reducing the bike’s weight by 2kg compared to the standard variant.
